Background[]
The sight of Martello is considered by many to be a most peculiar one. Anyone could recognize the small knight from a single glance, but not because of his short stature. Many rumors surround this mysterious knight-errant, tales of how a single swing of his hammer is enough to fell even the most ferocious of monsters, but not all whispers are of good will.
Some say there’s something off about this valiant warrior, how at times the air seemingly becomes hard to breathe around him, how he had never been seen without his armor, and how a charred smell speaks of his arrival in towns at sundawn.
